Position Summary:
Helps to maintain the fabrication schedule while performing a variety of duties in shop and yard; and occasionally at field jobsites; fabricates special items and devices; fabricates and repairs equipment and forms; operates a variety of equipment.

Helps to maintain the fabrication schedule while performing a variety of duties in shop and yard; and occasionally at field jobsites; fabricates special items and devices; fabricates and repairs equipment and forms; operates a variety of equipment.
Essential Functions:
- Perform a variety of welding and fabricating functions for both carbon and stainless steel.
- Operate a variety of welding equipment including TIG welding and MIG welding equipment, grinders, sanders, and saws
- Read blueprints and draws sketches to fabricate
- Operates shop and yard equipment including forklift, pressbrake, and shear
- Install items that have been fabricated when required
- Complete and maintain records of work performed and material used
- Perform precision tolerance fit-ups and layout fabrication from blueprints
- Work independently in the absence of supervision
- Comply with company Safety Program
- Strong background in stainless steel piping
