Position Summary:
The Components Fabricator supports production and fabrication operations by manufacturing, assembling, modifying, and repairing metal components and equipment. This position performs a variety of fabrication duties utilizing welding equipment, waterjet cutting systems, press brakes, shears, bandsaws, and material handling equipment. The role is responsible for maintaining production schedules, ensuring material traceability, managing inventory, and supporting shipping and receiving activities while adhering to company safety and quality standards.

The role is responsible for maintaining production schedules, ensuring material traceability, managing inventory, and supporting shipping and receiving activities while adhering to company safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG and TIG welding and metal fabrication.
- Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
- Operate waterjet, press brake, shear, bandsaw, and other fabrication equipment.
- Create nesting layouts and adjust machine settings for efficient production.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Maintain material traceability and production records.
- Support shipping, receiving, and inventory management activities.
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints.
- Experience with welding and metal fabrication processes.
- Experience operating fabrication equipment such as waterjets, press brakes, shears, bandsaws, and forklifts preferred.
- Knowledge of material handling, inventory control, and shipping/receiving practices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to perform layout work and precision measurements.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently stand, bend, lift, carry, push, and pull materials throughout the workday.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to work in a fabrication shop environment with exposure to noise, welding operations, and moving equipment.
- Ability to safely operate fabrication and material handling equipment.
